Yunnan Stipulates That Enterprises Will Pay More Than 50% Compensation For Arrears Of Wages.

The measures for the protection of the rights and interests of migrant workers in Yunnan have been promulgated recently, which stipulates that the employers who pay the wages of migrant workers beyond the prescribed time limit shall pay additional compensation to the peasant workers in accordance with the standard of 50% or less of the amount payable in 100%.

Among them, in order to prevent the bottom contractor from paying wages, the general contractor enterprises need to reserve 3% of the project budget before the project starts as the wage margin.
