Industrial Cluster: Shaanxi Has Cultivated 17 Textile And Garment Industrial Parks

Recently, the reporter learned from Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology that Shaanxi textile and clothing industry will develop steadily in 2024, and 17 textile and clothing industrial parks have been formed, including Xixian Textile and Clothing Innovation Park, Xi'an Engineering University Fashion Culture Creative Industrial Park, and Xi'an Modern Textile Industrial Park. Xi'an, Baoji, Xianyang, Yulin and other cities have formed distinctive industrial clusters of cotton yarn grey cloth, industrial textiles, functional professional clothing, wool winter clothing and so on.

Yan Jiamin, president of Shaanxi Textile Industry Association, introduced that there are more than 200 textile enterprises above designated size in the province at present, and the output value of enterprises on the chain of the textile and clothing industry chain in the province will increase by nearly 10% year on year in 2024.

At present, Shaanxi's textile and clothing industry has continuously enhanced its innovation capability, with 20 provincial and ministerial scientific research bases including the key laboratory of the Ministry of Education of functional textile materials and products, and the national key laboratory of textile materials and products; 53 scientific research achievements won national and provincial science and technology awards; Universities, enterprises and institutions such as Xi'an University of Engineering and Shaanxi Yuanfeng New Material Technology Co., Ltd. have successively developed a series of products such as carbon fiber ceramic matrix composite reinforcement materials, which have been used in aerospace, automotive transmission power friction and other fields. At the same time, Shaanxi has a good foundation in functional fabrics and clothing industry. The multi-functional protective fabrics and functional clothing produced by 10 key enterprises, including Shaanxi Ya'ai Industrial Group Co., Ltd., are used in national emergency rescue, fire protection and other fields. Through the application of intelligent equipment and digital technology, many textile and garment enterprises in the province have improved the automation and informatization level of enterprise operation modules and promoted the scientific and technological transformation of traditional industries.

In order to promote the high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry, in 2024, Shaanxi Province will set up a special class on the textile and clothing industry chain, formulate a three-year action plan for the textile and clothing industry chain, put forward development goals, regional layout, key directions for transformation and upgrading and work tasks, and promote the extension, supplement and strengthening of the textile and clothing industry chain. Shaanxi Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology made full use of a series of special funds to support Shaanxi textile and clothing enterprises to increase production and expand capacity and technological transformation. During the "14th Five Year Plan" period, 27 textile and clothing construction projects were supported in total, Shaanxi Garment Industry Association was supported to set up a Hanfu Trading Center in Xi'an East China Wanyue City, and Shaanxi Ya'ai Industrial Group Co., Ltd. was promoted to set up a comprehensive Hanfu base in Qianxian County integrating the production, processing, display, shooting and other functions of Hanfu, We will continue to expand and strengthen Shaanxi's characteristic apparel industry chain.

In 2025, the Shaanxi textile and clothing industry chain work team will focus on promoting the transformation and upgrading of the textile and clothing industry, focusing on the implementation of the "extended chain" project of high-end textile manufacturing cultivation, the "complementary chain" project of cotton textile industry consolidation and upgrading, and the "strong chain" project of intelligent manufacturing, so as to promote the high-end, intelligent and green development of the whole industry.
