(hereinafter referred to as GDS), one of the three most famous professional shoe exhibitions in the world, is the largest footwear exposition in Europe.

The exhibition is known as the window for China's footwear industry to enter the EU market. It is the largest and most influential international shoe exhibition in the world. It is held annually in March and September in the two quarter of spring and autumn in Dusseldorf, the famous international exhibition center in Europe. There are nearly two thousand exhibitors from more than 50 countries and regions in the world, with an exhibition area of 100 thousand square meters.

In the last exhibition, about more than 1300 exhibitors from 45 countries were exhibiting on the same stage, and nearly 40 thousand professional buyers came to the exhibition.

The exhibition organizer Dusseldorf exhibition company specializes in exhibitors according to the different grades and market positioning of the exhibits. The exhibition will be divided into 7 different exhibition areas: international basic exhibition area, fashion district and leisure area.

There are 11 pavilions in the 7--17 exhibition hall, which are divided into three main themes: Modern, Global Sources and Young. Chinese exhibitors are in the 15 and 16 international area (International Basic) respectively.

From September 2008 onwards, Chinese enterprises will be converted from the original 15 and 16 exhibition hall to two pavilions of 8A and 8B.

The exhibition hall of the 8B Pavilion is mainly allocated by the representative office of the Dusseldorf company, which is characterized by the rules of booth allocation, the intensity of exhibitors, the standardization of stalls, and the relatively large number of purchasers. More buyers looking for new partners prefer to visit the pavilion.

The booth of the 8A Pavilion is allocated by the German headquarters of Dusseldorf company. Its features are single booth with large area, different architectural styles and rich experience of exhibitors.
