Up to now, 21 local trade associations such as Yuhang home textiles and Yongkang electric vehicles have set up an early warning mechanism for foreign trade.

The trade association's main body of trade disputes is the trade association's early warning function, which is the first time in all provinces and cities of China.

This reporter learned from the Fair Trade Bureau of the foreign trade department recently.

According to the briefing, 21 industries that have established early warning mechanism in our province are all representative industries in the region and the whole province. The products cover textiles, footwear, hardware, aquatic products, etc., which are industries that have been subjected to foreign anti-dumping and other trade sanctions in recent years.

"This is a radical innovation in coping with the mechanism of foreign trade disputes in China, and it is also a more mature reflection of our province's coping mechanism."

According to the WTO rules, enterprises and trade associations are the main body to deal with trade disputes. However, at present, the domestic early warning information for foreign trade is still top-down, and the relevant government departments are the main providers of early warning information, and enterprises and trade associations passively receive and lack self-service capabilities.

Establishing an early-warning mechanism is equivalent to having a radar that can take the initiative in receiving foreign trade early warning information and make quick response. The industry association has led the enterprises to enhance their quick response ability to deal with foreign trade disputes.

Not long ago, the European Union announced that it would carry out anti-dumping investigations on fastener products in China. The fastener industry association of Jiaxing organized the enterprises involved in the first time and launched a response plan.

"After the establishment of early warning mechanism in the early part of the year, we have been tracking the trend of the European Union, and we have a premonition about this anti-dumping investigation."

The association official said.

It is reported that before 2010, our province will strive to form a trade warning network covering trade in key industries and sensitive products throughout the province.
