Sichuan Government Strengthens Quality Control Of Shoes And Clothing Products In New Year

As soon as the Spring Festival is approaching, the Quality Supervision Bureau of Chengdu, Sichuan province has conducted special supervision and spot checks on the roasted products, nuts products, confectionery products, solid seasonings, convenience foods and dairy products produced by the whole city, and sampled 173 batches of products, with 165 batches of qualified products.

Spot checks of substandard enterprises and products include the "Yang Meng" brand yak meat candy produced by Yang Meng candy food factory in Dujiangyan, the "brilliant" peanut butter crisp sweet taste produced by Chengdu Kangda health food factory, the coliform group exceeding the standard; the "slingshot kid" brand corn lollipop produced by Chengdu Jianyang food Co., Ltd., the sulfur dioxide residue exceeding the standard; the Huasheng food processing factory produced in huodu food processing factory, the corn powder produced by Chengdu Sheng Xing food factory, the mould exceeding the standard; the 1 batches of flour products produced by Chengdu Wangxiang Food Co., Ltd. is over standard; and the peroxide value of white melon seeds produced by the Tiantai food factory in Xindu District exceeds the standard. According to Ye Mei, senior engineer of food inspection center of Chengdu Quality Inspection Institute, the reasons for these 8 batches of food disqualification are: some enterprises have poor hygienic conditions of production; the cleaning and disinfection of workers' hands, workwear, shoes, caps and production utensils are not thorough, the concentration of effective components of disinfectant is not enough, and the packaging is polluted.

In addition, some enterprises are not strict with raw materials control, and at the same time, it is not accurate to understand the GB 2760~2011. In the production process, they are not strictly in accordance with the formulation requirements.

At present, Chengdu Quality Supervision Bureau has ordered disqualified production enterprises to immediately stop production and sales and recall according to law.
