Re sell the brand ColeHaan, which is another big move after Nike sold UMBRO earlier.

Inventory backlog and performance decline are not only troubled domestic

The common problem of the company is that Nike, the world's largest sports shoe and garment manufacturer, has also suffered from these pressures.

According to the analysis of people in the industry, all kinds of "downsizing" behavior signifies that Nike hopes to concentrate resources, optimize brand combinations and compete with core brands.

According to media reports, Nike intends to bring its flag down.

ColeHaan is sold to ApaxPartners, a private equity firm, for $500 million.

At present, the two sides have entered the final stage of negotiations.

More informed sources revealed that Jack Boyce had invited CEO, former CONVERSE Converse, to run ColeHaan after taking over.

In fact, Nike has started looking for new buyers for its brand ColeHaan in September. Nike said it was developing other potential brands such as Nike, Jordan, Converse and Hurley for the development of resources.

"Dry" value after changing hands

Some analysts pointed out that Nike is definitely a smart businessman. Although it seems to have made a "565 million dollar buy, but sold at 225 million", it has already dried up its commercial value before selling the brand.

It is reported that UMBRO was originally an old British football equipment manufacturer. It was bought by Nike in 2008, but it was sold only after 4 years.

"For Nike, this is not a failed business. The acquisition of UMBRO gives Nike a lot of sponsorship and promotion opportunities in the field of football."

Analysts say.

For the ColeHaan brand, analysts believe that it is biased towards leisure style and conflicts with Nike's main strategic areas.

"Nike has actually taken away some of the core resources of ColeHaan."
