Retailers can anticipate a good year-end shopping season through a survey by the American Retail Consortium.

The average cost per person is $805.65, higher than last year's $802.45.

In the year-end shopping season, more consumers choose to shop online.

According to the foreign media's recent reports, if the year-end online shopping growth rate continues at the current level, by 2018, the vast majority of holiday shopping will be completed online.

According to the latest survey by NRF, 46% of people intend to shop online this year, an increase of 2% over last year.

Though slower than expected, online shopping will account for most of the sales in the fourth quarter of the year.

This trend is why WAL-MART has recently announced major investments in the next three years.

Electronic Commerce

The reason.

It will not be in deep water with Amazon and other e-commerce retailers in the next few years.

Interestingly, consumers still like physical stores, but they only buy their products from online stores.

Of those who plan to shop online, 46.5% will choose to place orders online, and pick up orders in physical stores or in stores.

This is why Amazon has no physical store but can grow and develop through Prime Now services.

The Prime Now service is now being extended to San Francisco and can send thousands of items in an hour.

Stephanie Landry, head of Amazon Prime Now, said: "Prime Now is our fastest express way at present.

Through Prime Now, you can go directly to the doorway in an hour without going to the physical store. "

In addition, smart phones become a tool for more consumers to shop online.

According to the survey, 21.4% of smartphone users will use holiday phones to buy holiday products this year.

This is the highest rate since the US Retail Federation was investigated in 2011.

In short, through the survey of the American Retail Federation,

"Despite the challenges that still exist in our economy, consumers this year seem more likely to celebrate holidays with family and friends," said Matthew Shay, President and chief executive officer of the US Retail Federation. "We hope that consumers will be a little more optimistic when dealing with holiday shopping lists, and be more cautious in choosing the way to buy a perfect practical gift."

A survey by the US Retail Federation shows that holiday shopping has begun for 40% of consumers.

They will start shopping before Halloween, and 41.5% say they will start in November.
