American Apparel Workers Strike Again Due To Frequent Dismissal Of Executives

American Apparel Inc. Inc., a US clothing retailer who has broken away from bankruptcy protection, has another strike against workers. Last Friday, hundreds of workers went on strike at two factories in Losangeles.

According to sources, Jeremias Pablo, the factory director who worked for American Apparel Inc. for 18 years and supervised 2000 workers, was fired the day before the strike, while several workers were laid off. In February 16th, Jeremias Pablo's boss Marty Bailey also left the company.

American Apparel Inc. has continued to decline and sustained losses over the past three years. The company finally opted to go bankrupt, despite the fact that Dov Charney, founder of Dov, hopes for a high price acquiring company.
