Youxi PU Leather Substrate Dyeing Technology Fills The Gap In China

In August 8th, the expert group, organized by the China Federation of textile industry, passed the appraisal procedure and agreed that the "new energy saving and environment-friendly PU leather substrate dyeing process" developed by Fujian glair printing and dyeing Co., Ltd. realized the green production of energy saving, emission reduction and environmental protection. It filled the blanks of PU leather substrate dyeing technology in China, and suggested further developing the market and accelerating the popularization and application.

Youxi county is a famous city of "China's leather base cloth" and "China's blended yarn city". Leather products, nylon and chemical fiber products occupy a place in China. Fujian Gloria printing and dyeing Co., Ltd. is located in Youxi Economic Development Zone, Fujian. It is a comprehensive leather base leading enterprise integrating spinning, weaving and dyeing and finishing. Its output value is more than 700 million yuan in 2018. Greer's "new energy-saving and environment-friendly PU leather substrate dyeing process" is an important measure to promote the ecological and high value development of Youxi textile industry.

Through more than 2 years of research and experiments, grill has developed PU continuous dyeing pad for leather substrates, designed and developed a set of flat size desizing, washing, pad dyeing and drying machines, and transformed the traditional batch production process into continuous pad dyeing process. Compared with the traditional dyeing process, it can reduce the discharge of sewage 80 to 85%, save 60 to 70%, and reduce labor consumption by 50%, which has significant economic and social benefits. Experts believe that the technology fills the gap of domestic PU leather substrate dyeing technology, is a disruptive dyeing process transformation, has significant social benefits to the whole industry, and can promote the transformation and upgrading of the whole industry.

At present, the project has applied for 6 patents, including 1 invention patents, 1 authorized utility models, and 3 new energy-saving and environment-friendly PU leather base dyeing lines, which are stable in operation. The products have been tested to meet the relevant national standards, and have been widely used in bags, balls, shoe materials and other fields.
