The Canadian Shoe Manufacturers Association (SMAC) filed a complaint against the Canadian Border Services Agency under the special import act act (SIMA).

The Canadian Shoe Manufacturers Association asked the Border Services Bureau to re investigate the price of waterproof rubber shoes and soles exported or originated from China and Vietnam.

Recently, the European Union, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Peru have taken investigation or anti-dumping actions on shoes imported from Vietnam.

According to global market research, Vietnam and China are the largest footwear exporters in the world.
