China Knitting Industry Association Held A Seminar On The "15Th Five Year Plan" Of Knitting Industry In Shanghai

The "Fifteenth Five Year Plan" period is a critical stage for China to comprehensively build a socialist modern country, as well as a historical opportunity period and a breakthrough period for the leapfrog development of the industry. In order to accurately grasp the development trend of the industry and scientifically plan the future development, on March 13, 2025, the China Knitting Industry Association organized a seminar on the "15th Five Year Plan" of the knitting industry in Shanghai.

This seminar gathered more than 20 experts, scholars and enterprise representatives in the knitting industry, aiming to deeply discuss the future development direction and goals of the knitting industry, and provide important reference for the formulation of scientific and reasonable "Tenth Five Year Plan". Executive Deputy Director of Expert Technical Committee of China Knitting Industry Association, Jiangnan University Jiang Gaoming The professor made in-depth analysis from three aspects: knitting AI technology, knitting process innovation and cross-border talent training. Professor Jiang pointed out that in the future knitting industry, attention should be paid to the development and application of knitting AI technology, the innovation of knitting technology, and the training of cross-border talents and practical talents.

Vice President of Donghua University Research Institute Wang Huaping The professor suggested strengthening the application of twin simulation in the knitting field, and establishing a database of fibers, yarns, fabrics to products; Research the application and expansion of different materials in knitting, and find new consumption points; Increase the research of fiber properties and knitting structure functionalization; Explore the research and development of intelligent, hot and humid, light protection, high-performance and other products.

Executive Deputy Director of Expert Technical Committee of China Knitting Industry Association, Donghua University Chen Nanliang The professor suggested taking knitting technology as the main line, focusing on warp knitting, weft knitting equipment and renewable environment-friendly fibers; Dig deep into core technologies and expand application fields for enterprises; Strengthen the school enterprise relationship and promote the integration of design and AI; Cooperate with vocational colleges to optimize talent training; Focus on industrial transfer and provide clear and operable ideas for the future of the industry.

At the meeting, industry experts focused on "Scientific and technological innovation", "integration of industrialization and industrialization", "industrial structure", "green development", "talent cultivation" and "standard work" The experts analyzed the current situation, observed the trend, and made suggestions from a professional perspective and forward-looking thinking.
